Privacy Policy

Effective as of version 2026-06-18

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Mantis collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Service. By using the Service you consent to this Policy.

2. Information we collect

Account and billing information (name, email, and payment details processed by our payment processor — we do not store full card numbers). Customer Content you upload (documents and the data within them, such as leases, tax bills, and insurance certificates). Usage and device data (log data, IP address, browser, and product analytics). Communications you send us.

3. How we use information

To provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service; to extract, abstract, and organize your documents (including through AI processing); to send transactional and service messages, reminders, receipts, and onboarding/account emails; to process billing; to provide support; to detect and prevent fraud and abuse; and to comply with law.

4. AI processing and subprocessors

To deliver features, Customer Content may be processed by third-party infrastructure and AI providers acting as our subprocessors (for example, cloud hosting, database, object storage, authentication, payments, email, and AI model providers). We share only what is necessary and require subprocessors to protect the data. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest and per-subscriber data isolation. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data retention, export, and deletion

We retain Customer Content while your account is active. On cancellation, you may export your data; after the applicable notice period we schedule deletion of Customer Content, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business records.

7. Your privacy rights

Because owners use the Service nationwide, residents of certain states may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of their personal information, and to appeal a denial. To exercise rights, contact us using the address we publish; we will respond as required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. Children; changes; contact

The Service is not directed to children under 18. We may update this Policy; material changes take effect on notice, and continued use constitutes acceptance. Contact us using the address we publish for privacy questions or requests.
